Job Title: Registered Nurse
Location: GA Urology Ambulatory Surgery Center – Decatur/Conyers
Posting Date: May 10, 2012
Applicant Deadline: Until Filled
Reports to: Clinical Director – Decatur Pod
Roles and responsibilities:
The registered nurse is responsible for screening patients pre-operatively, peri-operatively, and post-operatively. He/she is also responsible for transporting patients, cleanliness of operating rooms, supply ordering and stocking. ACLS certification preferred.
Duties Include:
• Pre-operative review of records with anesthesia to determine clearance for surgery
• Pre-operative care for patient day of surgery
• OR circulation
• PACU care
• Review of medical records
• Order supplies,
• Clean OR
• Scrub instruments
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
Education, training, experience:
B.S. degree in Nursing
Registered Nurse
Urology experience a plus.
